Officers completed numerous enquiries gaining positive outcomes, assisted Sutton Coldfield officers and Hodge Hill officers with a priority area on their patch. Later that evening, officers attended Kenelm Road looking at vehicles, targeting those that were showing as stolen. From this two stop searches were conducted and drugs/ drug paraphernalia was seized off of the individuals. One car was seized for being on cloned plates.
On Saturday 24th January 2026, officers attended ASDA Bordesley Green to conduct a drop in surgery discussing vehicle crimes, burglaries and offering advice on how to keep safe especially with the darker nights. Faraday pouches, number plate screws, personal attack alarms and house alarms were given out to members of the public and we got to engage with them asking about any issues they are having in the local area. Following reports about nitrous oxide being on the junction of Botha Road, officers have collected this and disposed of this safely. Officers have also conducted general patrols over Bordesley Green.
All around a positive week for Bordesley Green supported by the residents and by partner agencies, it is something we have been doing and will continue to do. Once issues are reported to us we will continue to act against those involved, ensuring that our residents are safe and we can continue to prevent crimes before they become larger issues.
