Local Drug Dealer Charged and Remanded to Court

Yesterday afternoon, whilst on mobile patrol in Newtown, Ashford, your local beat officer—supported by colleagues from the Neighbourhood Team—conducted a proactive stop that led to the discovery of numerous Class A drugs and items linked to drug supply. Following this, a further search at the individual’s home address in Wye uncovered additional evidence confirming his involvement in drug-related activity.

As a result of the swift and coordinated work between the Ashford Community Safety Unit (CSU) and Folkestone CID, the male was promptly charged and remanded in custody. He is due to appear in court on Monday.

This outcome reflects the continued dedication of the Ashford CSU, who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe, disrupt criminal activity, and respond to concerns raised by residents.
