Parcel thefts are happening in your area

Dear resident

Parcel thieves are opportunistic and will steal deliveries that have been left outside your home. Thieves are likely to return to the same area again, using similar tactics.

Help avoid your parcels being stolen by:

Tracking your parcel to ensure somebody is home for the delivery.

Arranging for it to be left with a neighbour if nobody will be home.

Using off-site locker service for frequent deliveries or expensive items; these are more likely to be busy in places rather than secluded areas that could be targeted by thieves.

Installing a video doorbell; you will be notified of any delivery on your phone and is easier to install than CCTV.

Install a security light.

If your parcel has been stolen, report it to police online at www.met.police.uk or call 101.
