Using the new system to manage your schemes

Hello

We’re writing to explain how you can use the Alert system to engage with potential members, the recent changes you may notice, and other updates affecting you and your scheme.

Login to Your Members Area
The main change is the login screen. Please go to: https://members.ourwatchmember.org.uk

Enter your email and follow the links to login.

Once logged in, you can:

Update your personal details

Change your message preferences

Select who you receive information from

We recommend selecting Neighbourhood Watch, Police, Action Fraud, Get Safe Online, and any other area-specific options. This ensures you receive the maximum information to support your members.

Your Scheme
On your membership screen, you can:

View your scheme and current members

Edit your scheme

If your scheme hasn’t been approved by volunteers (MSAs), you won’t be able to manage it. In that case, contact your Force Association to get approved. This ensures all Coordinators comply with our Code of Ethics, Data Protection policies, and regional processes.

Potential New Members
Once your scheme is approved, you can:

Add or invite new members using an email address

See how many potential members are already registered in the database, but not yet a member of your scheme

Mapping
You cannot change your scheme mapping directly. Any updates must be made via your local MSA or, if unavailable, the Central Support Team.

Once your area is live, sign up for the Knowledge Hub: www.ourwatch.org.uk/knowledge-hub
This is a space to learn more about your role, connect with other volunteers, and share experiences.
