Fraud & Scams Prevention Input at Gillingham Learning & Skills Hub |
||
|
On 26th January 2026, Fraud Prevention Coordinator Sophie Day, PCSO Trirocco, and a Gillingham Beat Officer attended the Gillingham Learning & Skills Hub to deliver a Fraud and Scams Prevention Session. Around 20 service users and staff took part in this engaging and interactive input, which focused on helping residents recognise common scams, protect their personal information, and stay alert to fraud trends affecting vulnerable individuals and local communities. Participants were able to ask questions, share concerns, and learn practical steps to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of fraud — continuing our ongoing work across Medway to raise awareness, promote confidence, and support safer communities. We’d like to thank the staff and learners at the Gillingham Learning & Skills Hub for their warm welcome and positive participation. If you’d like to arrange a similar session for your community group, organisation, or venue, please contact your local policing team. | ||
