While out on patrol today, your Safer Neighbourhood Team came across a vehicle parked on the road with no valid insurance. As a result, the vehicle has now been seized.

A quick reminder of what no insurance can cost you: 💸 £300 fixed penalty

📉 6 penalty points on your licence

🚗 Vehicle recovery & storage fees (which add up very quickly!)

❌ Or potentially an unlimited fine and disqualification if it goes to court

That “saving” on insurance suddenly becomes a very expensive parking space…

Please make sure your vehicle is insured, taxed and road legal before leaving it on the road — even if it’s just parked outside your house.
