Dear residents and local businesses,
Here is a roundup of what the Foleshill Neighbourhood team officers have been doing this week.
OUR Priorities
Our priorities are now business crime; this is an issue all over the north east and officers are proactively patrolling the affected areas. We have officers in plain clothes as well as in hi visibility uniform.
Officers are carrying out dedicated retail crime patrols and plain clothes operations to provide reassurance to shop keepers, deter anti-social behaviour and address concerns raised by the community. Alongside these the dedicated retail crime patrols are focusing on supporting local shops, tackling shop theft and working closely with shop staff to prevent repeat offences
IN OTHER NEWS
Officers have been busy patrolling in the north of the city and working hard to reduce crime and give reassurance to the public.
This week our officers have made several arrests, two males have been arrested for fail to appear offences and a third male was arrested on suspicion of assault. Enquiries will be ongoing
We are still dedicated to tackling Anti-social behaviour, and this week officers have given a male his first community protection warning (CPW) this is the first step to tackle his constant begging and anti social behaviour on the retail park. This will be closely monitored by officers who will take the appropriate action should the warning be breeched.
Our local PCSO’s have been spending time in the local library this is ware we hold (PACT) meetings, police and communities together, and our cupper with a copper events. Please keep an eye for up and coming dates and do attend if you have local worries or issues you would like to discuss with the police.
