Community Engagement
This morning we were at Oxleas Wood Café for a contact contact session/cuppa with a copper.
It was great to see our residents who took the time to see us and discuss the areas of concern.
Why do we hold contact sessions?
We think it is a huge benefit to be able to meet residents who are unable to attend the ward panel meetings, which occur once every three months. We are able to meet with you and provide interim updates, have the opportunity to tell you what we have been up to and what we are planning. It is also an excellent opportunity to tell us of issues which you are facing whilst being in your community.
We are planning on running these contact sessions more often and will look to hold them on different times and days of the week to suit a majority of our residents. Please respond to us with suggested days of the week and times which you are able to attend. Due to the nature of the availability of a venue and our shift patterns we understand that we may not be able to suit everyone, however we will do our best to ensure we can meet as many of you as possible.
These contact sessions are to ensure we are aware of low level concerns and to provide updates on the ward. If something is concerning you or the community, suspicious behaviour and anti-social behaviour. Please be aware that if you need to report a crime then please do so by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency. You will also be able to report online on the Metropolitan Police website.
Without you reporting things, we are unable to respond. Even if you feel it may be trivial, it could be the final piece of a puzzle for a much larger investigation. If you wish to report things anonymously then you can use Crimestoppers. We will be able to see the details of your report but we will not know who has reported it.
In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to us on SNTRG-.ShootersHill@met.police.uk
Our next Ward Panel Meeting is on Thursday 26TH February 2026 at 1930hrs - 2100hrs at Shooters Hill Sixth Form College.
