Local Priorities Highways obstructions Update |
||
|
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Highways obstructions, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. I would like to bring to your attention that a number of vehicles are parking with two wheels on the local pavements causing limited access to pedestrians and forcing some pedestrians including children into the road. It has also been noted that a number of young people are riding there cycles in a dangerous manner along the Ridgeway and other areas of Plympton. Please give due consideration to pedestrians as per the Highway Code. A number of E Bikes have also been noted in the area riding in an inconsiderate manner along the Ridgeway Plympton with no Helmet on and also on the pavement. If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.devon-cornwall.police.uk, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, you can stay 100 per cent anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
