Update from your Local Neighbourhood Policing Team. 31/01/2026

We are pleased to be bringing you frequent weekly updates from your local policing team, we cover the area in which you live, which includes Greenbank, University, Mutley, Mannamead, Compton, Mount Gould and Lipson & Laira

Our team has been busy this past week, yesterday PCSO’s Rogers and Souch met with a local councillor to address local concerns across Mutley and Compton. Including drug dealing and youth ASB centred around abandoned properties.

PC’s on the team have also executed two separate recalls on two individuals who were wanted by Probation for breaching their license conditions and were subsequently recalled to prison.

PCSO Souch and PC Monk have also been conducting house to house enquiries in the Mount Gould area, following the arrest of an individual suspected in thefts from motor vehicles from which a large amount of suspected stolen property was recovered. We have also been keeping up regular foot patrols in hotspots / problem areas. To proactively deter anti-social behaviour and disrupt drug dealing.   

 

This weekend on our late shifts, we will be engaged in ENTE (Evening and Night-time Economy) activity to keep everyone safe with a priority on tackling violence against women and girls.
