WELWYN/HATFIELD Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding a Bike Marking Session as detailed below.

WHAT IS BIKE MARKING? 

We are offering a free service to keep your bikes protected. 

Bike marking is a simple but powerful way to protect your bike and give you peace of mind. By marking you bike with a unique, traceable identifier, it becomes far less attractive to thieves and much easier to recover if it's ever lost or stolen. Marked bikes can be quickly identified and returned to their rightful owners by police, schools, or community groups, helping reduce theft and discourage illegal resale. 

Combined with smart habits like using strong locks, parking in well lit areas, and registering you bike details, bike marking plays a key role in keeping your bike safe, saving you money, and ensuring you can keep riding with confidence. 

We are also keen to hear about any concerns you have regarding Anti Social Behaviour, crime or any other issues affecting you or our local community.
