Facial Recognition at Finsbury Park: Taking Offenders Off the Streets |

You may have noticed our Facial Recognition operation around Finsbury Park Station on Thursday, and we wanted to provide the community with an update.
On the 28th January officers from Finsbury Park Town Centre Team carried out a Live Facial Recognition (LFR) deployment around Finsbury Park Station. These deployments are used to identify individuals who are wanted or who may be subject to specific legal conditions, helping us keep the community safe by locating those who pose risk or harm.

These arrests ensure that individuals avoiding the courts are brought back into the justice system, protecting the public and supporting victims. This proactive activity forms part of our wider commitment to tackling offenders who cause the most harm, strengthening community confidence, and ensuring Finsbury Park remains a safe place to live, work, and travel through.
