Dear residents.
This is your bi-monthly update for the Holderness Ward regards news and updates around crime and anti-social behaviour. For the months of December 2025 – January 2026, the ward had the following crimes/incidents reported:
Crime -
Burglary to a residential property (including outer buildings): 5 Criminal Damage 9including arson): 7 Theft from a motor vehicle/vehicle interference: 2 Theft of a motor vehicle: 2 Theft of cycle: 3 Robbery: 2 Violence offences: 20
Anti-social behaviour - ASB - Personal: 1 ASB - Nuisance: 5 ASB - Environmental: 0
WHAT WE HAVE BEEN DOING AND FOCUSING ON ………
We have conducted some Humber talking on Glebe Road asking residents what they think of the new road layout at Stoneferry round about. There have been surgeries held and B&Q, Tesco express and Woodford Café (these are held every three weeks if you would like to come along. dates will be sent on My Community Alert).
The next Police surgery is on the 12th of Feb at 18:00 B&Q Ferry Lane.
Meetings with Ward councillors at the Malet Vikings pavilion to discuss ongoing issues regarding fly tipping, potential new grit bin placements within the ward area. Also, discussion around the street signs been unreadable, if you see a street sign that is dirty or faded please contact the council and make them aware so this can be cleaned or replaced.
