Short Update for Wardleworth |
||
|
Your local policing team remains visible and accessible across Wardleworth, focusing on what matters most to you: tackling anti‑social behaviour, improving road safety, and supporting a neighbourhood where people feel safe and confident. Everything we do is shaped by what you tell us, and your voices stay at the centre of our work.
In recent weeks, officers have met many of you at the Police Surgery at the KYP Unique Enterprise Centre and during the “New Year, New Me” community event at the BACP on Ramsay Street. These conversations continue to guide our efforts around youth related ASB and the illegal use of off road bikes.
As we move into February, we’re increasing our local activity and have already made several arrests for individuals wanted in the area. We’ll continue this work to ensure those causing harm are dealt with swiftly.
Across the borough, officers are also carrying out more proactive foot patrols, speaking with residents, gathering intelligence, and offering reassurance. This supports our Central Ward priorities of reducing burglaries, targeting organised criminal activity, and addressing speeding and inconsiderate driving.
