Over the  weekend, neighbourhood officers were in the area in Chinatown, investigating anti-social behaviour by the pagoda on George Street. Officers encountered 4 males at the Pagoda with empty alcohol bottles around them in the early hours of the weekend. These male were stop searched under S23 Misuse of Drugs Act due to their behaviour. Although the searches were negative, their details were taken, and they were warned in regards to their anti-social behaviour before being moved off. This is a part of a pro-active policing process, following information and intelligence provided by local residents.

Anti-social behaviour is a key-priority in neighbourhood policing, and will not be tolerated by the police.
