Missing elderly male located safe and well

We knocked on quite a few doors in the Upton and Ryall area yesterday morning as part of a search for an elderly man with Alzheimer's, who had gone missing from an address in the area. 

It was extremely wet and cold yesterday and the man had been missing for several hours, so it was very concerning. 

Officers from Malvern Safer neighbourhood team, Malvern ‘D’ shift and two police dog handlers were involved in the search.

 Thankfully, the man was located and returned to his home address. Amazingly he had managed to walk 7.5 miles in the horrendous weather and was very cold and wet but was in good spirits.
