Dear residents of LYNDON,
These are the crime updates in the Lyndon area between 29th of JANUARY 2026- 06th of FEBRUARY 2026
VEHICLE CRIME
FAULKNER ROAD-Unknown suspect has smashed the right front window of a TOYOTA YARIS via unknown means. Vehicle was parked and unattended.
REDFERN CLOSE-A TOYOTA YARIS was stolen from REDFERN CLOSE by unknown means. The vehicle has been recovered with damage to one of the front windows. Officers have found a suspect in relation to this, and an investigation is still ongoing.
LYNDON ROAD-Unknown suspect has stolen a SAT NAV from an unattended vehicle that was parked on the road by unknown means. No damage has been caused and nothing else was stolen.
HOBS MOAT ROAD-Unknown suspect attempted to gain access to two vehicles that were parked and secured by trying car doors. Suspect has made off. Nothing was stolen.
ON THE GOOD SIDE
A shop lifter targeting the shops in HOBS MOAT ROAD and LYNDON RD has now been arrested and charged with the offences and will attend court.
We are working close with our partner agencies and have conducted numerous joint visits with SOHILULL HOUSING ASSOCIATION targeting Anti-social behaviour in LYNDON area.
We have continued our proactive patrols in the area targeting Anti-Social Behaviour, drug hot spots and burglary/vehicle crime.
