Bromley Cross: Burglary Arrest

Good Evening Resident,

Yesterday (06/02/26), Greater Manchester Police received reports of a burglary to a garage on Kibbles Brow in Bromley Cross. A pedal cycle was stolen during the burglary, as well as a drill. Officers attended the location and were provided various pieces of CCTV by members of the community.

This evening (07/02/26), officers from Bolton’s Neighbourhood Crime Team have arrested a 39-year-old man in the Halliwell area on suspicion of burglary. He remains in police custody for questioning.

I would like to thank those of you who provided CCTV footage, which allowed us to arrest someone so quickly. I will provide you with a further update in due course.
