Anti-Social Behaviour |
||
|
Good Morning, For a period of time we have received reports of young people causing Anti-Social behaviour and Criminal Damage in the vicinity of Winton Road, Turker Lane and Thorntree Road. We understand the concerns this can cause for local residents and want to reassure the community that this is being actively addressed. Local officers and PCSOs have been carrying out patrols in these areas, engaging with those involved, and working with partner agencies and parents to prevent further issues. We encourage parents and guardians to be aware of where their children are spending time and to speak with them about behaving responsibly and respectfully within the community. If you experience or witness anti-social behaviour, please continue to report it: 101 (or 999 in an emergency) Online via the police website By speaking with your local officer or PCSO - details can be found on the North Yorkshire Police Website or replying to this message. By working together, we can help keep Winton Road, Turker Lane and Thorntree Road safe and welcoming for everyone. UPDATE: I don’t want to jinx anything but the last report we received for Anti-Social Behaviour in the area was 23rd January 2026, this is a positive start but we aware how things can change therefore we are continuing our patrols,working with partner agencies parents and residents. We have received reports of a Burglary and possible attempt burglary/criminal damage on 26th January 2026 this investigation is still ongoing. Thank you for your support.
