Speeding in Nort Acton

SNT North Acton carried out a speed‑gun operation today across several locations in North Acton following multiple reports from residents regarding vehicles speeding in the area. Officers stopped a number of cars and mopeds that were travelling above the legal speed limit, and appropriate action was taken in each case.

Despite poor weather conditions and reduced visibility, several drivers were still choosing to speed, posing a risk to themselves and others. This remains a significant concern for community safety.

We will continue to conduct these enforcement operations throughout the year to help reduce dangerous driving and to reassure our residents that we are actively working to keep local roads safe. Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the community remains one of our top priorities.
