Good Morning, This weekly update maybe a little late arriving in your inboxes on this rainy Thursday morning. We have been very busy and this is where we have been keeping your community safe….
🚶♀️PCSOs Clark & Smith conducted foot patrols around Willington.
🚶♀️PCSOs Clark & Lane conducted foot patrols around Crook
🚓PCSO Turnbull, SC Hayes, PCSO Cusick & SC Palmer have been out in Crook, Helmington Row & Willington with the speed gun. Two drivers were given words of advice.
👮♀️A male has been arrested for two burglaries in Willington with the help of the drone. PCSO Lane deployed the drone above a wooded area nearby and directed PCs to his location. The male was located and arrested on scene.
🏍️You said we did – during the latest PACT meeting in Crook you brought the issue of off-road bikes to us. Since then, an off-road bike has been seized on the Watergate Estate by PC Whitehead & PCSO Smith and is now off the road.
🚜Officers from Crook NPT and across the force assisted Thames Valley Police with a series of warrants to disrupt a suspected OCG operating out of Sunniside. Around 50 officers were involved including specialist search teams, drone operators PCSO Lane & PCSO Whitby, detection dogs, arrest teams and rural crime teams. A male was arrested on suspicion of theft, and another arrested for possession with intent to supply. They have been released on bail whilst further enquiries are carried out.
