#CommunityEvent | Looking for something fun to keep the kids busy this half term? @cannockchasedc has a packed programme of free activities in Cannock Park – and they’d love to see you there!
🎨 Following the success of last year’s vibrant spray‑painted mural on the Pavilion, the professional artist behind that project is returning to Cannock. Over the coming weeks, they’ll be transforming the external walls of Chase Leisure Centre with brand‑new designs. To celebrate the ongoing artwork, two free spray‑art workshops will be held for children and young people:
🗓️ Monday 16 February (12pm – 2pm)
These hands‑on sessions give young people the chance to try spray art for themselves and help shape elements of the final design. All materials are provided, and no experience is needed.
🐮 FREE family fun day (with real life cows) hosted by the @CCDCCountrysideServices – also joining them on the day will be the @StaffordshireRuralWildlifeCrime, who will be on hand to chat, offer advice, and engage with families, showcasing the Rural Crime vehicle along with lots of and uniform to try on (adults too!)
🗓️ Wednesday 18 February, 10am – 2pm
During the event, families can: - Meet the team and learn about their work across Cannock Chase
