APPEAL FOLLOWING COLLISION IN HAZELSLADE, CANNOCK

A man has been arrested following a collision involving two cars in Cannock. 

Officers were called at 2.45pm yesterday (Thursday 12 February) to Cannock Wood Road following reports of a collision involving a silver Ford and a grey Renault. 

The driver of the Renault, a man, and the driver of the Ford, a woman, were both taken to hospital with minor injuries. They have both since been discharged. 

A passenger in the Renault, a 33-year-old man, from Middlesbrough, has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, cause bodily harm by wanton / furious driving, driving a motor vehicle dangerously and common assault. 

He has since been released on bail with conditions whilst our enquiries continue.
