On behalf of the Home Office, Greater Manchester Police has launched the ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ campaign, which aims to tackle the issue of purchasing cannabis online by raising awareness and highlighting the consequences it carries.
Cannabis ordered online often comes from abroad via Fast Parcel and Post (FFP) - packages sent into the UK from overseas - and typically contain illegal drugs or weapons.
Purchasing cannabis through FPP is a serious importation offence, and those who participate face penalties as well as detrimental consequences to their employment, travel, and education.
