Today's update |

Afternoon everyone :)
Hope you can still read this underwater. The rain has been terrible today. We all are very muddy and damp! But that didn't stop us. We've been all around the wards, keeping an eye on everything. Two of our team caught up with an outstanding suspect who couldn't find his way to court. Just an FYI, your appearance at your court isn't optional. You kinda need to be there. We helped out with a trip past Go but without the collection of £200 or the ‘get out of jail free’ card. Officer rain and Sergeant puddles kept most of the criminals away, so we helped out with some response calls. This job is not one you can predict, so helped out a few neighbours with their squabbles too.
If you are having a problem with a neighbour, try to think of the ways you can deal with it. I could write a memoir with the weird and wonderful calls I've attended, but we're always happy to help.
One way we deal with things is the ‘Day One’ policy. This is where we draw a line in the sand as if both parties have moved in that day. A refresh or a reboot if you like. Mainly as no one wants to have stress and drama on their doorstep because ‘my neighbour moved my bin!’ It does work, and sorts out a lot of small things before they blow into the big ones.
Have a lovely evening, and we hope your neighbour doesn't move your bin without asking.
Dave and the team.
