Gas main rupture following collision, Boothby Graffoe

We're currently working with gas specialists as well as colleagues from Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue this evening following a collision in the Boothby Graffoe area which saw a gas main ruptured.

This was called in at 9.44pm following a single vehicle collision on Lincoln Road. A gas main has ruptured and a cordon has been put in place.

Nearby residents are also being evacuated and we continue to work with experts to monitor the situation. As a result, the A607 with the junction of B1202 will likely remain closed for some time.

A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident.
