South Leicester Police - Beat Surgeries. |
||
|
Dear South Leicester Resident. You are receiving the following message as you are a resident living on the area covered by the Freemen police beat team.
As part of the continued commitment for officers to be visible, approachable and available to the community the local team conduct several beat surgeries each month as well as attending community events.
So far this year we have held beat surgeries at key locations on the beat primarily at the Aylestone Leisure Centre and Saffron Resource Centre, we have spent time with the craft group at the Kingfisher Youth Centre and recently attended the latest Saffron Community Ward Meeting. A surgery has also taken place at the Church of the Nativity on Cavendish Road, and we have been out going door to door speaking to people directly.
These beat surgeries give the community a further option to reach out to the team to discuss local and policing issues, they are face to face and any matter can be discussed from crime prevention, to anti-social behaviour (ASB) or updates on ongoing reports. They can also be used to report issues directly to us or for you to bring any developing or relevant information to the attention of the team.
Upcoming surgeries are always listed on the monthly newsletter and are often pre-advertised on the South Leicester Police Facebook page, they can also be found on the Leicestershire Police website using the link below. Freemen | Your area | Leicestershire Police
