Weekly update for Rushcliffe
Our Neighbourhood Policing Team were joined by the Tactical Support Group on Monday 9th of February at East Leake and Thursday 12th of February at Radcliffe on Trent to make arrests and carry out searches on behalf of East Midlands Special Operations Unit who investigate organised groups dealing in illicit commodities such as drugs.
On Wednesday 11th of February two officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team found and recovered a stolen John Deere Gator which had been stolen overnight from the Kneeton area.
Friday 13th of February saw a visit from the Off Road Bike Team who patrolled the East Leake, West Leake, Gotham, Soar Valley, Barton in Fabis and Thrumpton areas of Rushcliffe. The ORBT are capable of accessing areas where other police vehicles can't to look for nuisance off road vehicles, rural and wildlife crime.
Officers also attended a suspicious incident involving door to door sellers on Thursday. The advice from Nottinghamshire County Council trading standards is to never buy goods or services from traders on your doorstep.
