Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

The team were made aware of a property where a large amount of drugs was being kept and possibly grown. Yesterday 16th FEBRUARY 2026, the team entered the address, We found and seized multiple large vacuum sealed bags of cannabis, stored inside a large washing bag, and in several bag for life shopping bags were further medium sized vacuum seal bags containing different amounts of cannabis.

Additionally, A large Tupperware box containing multiple bags of white powder believed be class a drugs was also found and seized.

Furthermore a large suitcase containing multiple large vacuum seal bags of cannabis was also seized.

All of this was found inside a small flat.
