Wembley Hill Ward – Policing Update

Your Wembley Hill Ward officers have been out on proactive patrols this week, focusing on crime, anti‑social behaviour (ASB) and our ward priority areas. As a result of targeted activity, several positive outcomes have been achieved:

🔍 Stop & Searches – Dukes Way Car Park

Officers conducted three stop and searches in Dukes Way car park, Wembley, a location that has recently become a hotspot for drug‑related activity.

All three searches resulted in Community Resolutions for possession of cannabis.

The car park will continue to be patrolled robustly to deter drug‑related behaviour and bring offenders to justice.

🏍 Section 59 Warning – Uncle Apartments, Wembley

A moped rider was issued with a Section 59 Warning under the Police Reform Act 2002 after using their vehicle in a manner likely to cause alarm, distress or annoyance to the public.

The driver was fully advised that the warning is valid for 12 months.

Any repeat behaviour may result in the seizure of the vehicle.

🚫 ASB Warning Notices – Ecclestone Mews

Two individuals were issued with Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB) Warning Notices after causing nuisance and annoyance to businesses and members of the public in Ecclestone Mews, Wembley.

This is the second ASB Warning Notice issued to both subjects.

They were informed that any further ASB will result in a Community Protection Warning (CPW), potentially escalating to a Community Protection Notice (CPN) if the behaviour continues.

🛵 Vehicle Seizures – High Road, Wembley

Officers engaged with three food‑delivery mopeds illegally parked on High Road, Wembley, causing obstruction and posing a risk to road users.

All three mopeds were found to have no valid insurance.

Riders were dealt with robustly, and all vehicles were seized and recovered to the police pound.

This dangerous and irresponsible behaviour will not be tolerated.

👮 High‑Visibility Patrols

High‑visibility reassurance patrols have been carried out across key ward priority areas, focusing on:

Anti‑social behaviour

Crime prevention

Community safety concerns

Officers have been engaging with residents and businesses, increasing visibility and working proactively to deter offending and address emerging issues.
