A busy day for PC Dale

It has been a busy day already. Today was set aside as an arrest day for the cluster, which gives us officers a chance to chase up enquiries and find outstanding named suspects. We attended an address on Southfield where the neighbours are at war, with the intention of carrying out an arrest. The suspect was home and instead agreed to come in next week for an interview under caution.

We also used the extra officers to clear Morrisons, where we found an excitable young man, who has been found loitering in car parks over the last few weeks. He has now been issued a community protection warning following a section 23 search.

We have also issued a charge to a male for sexual assault of a minor. 
For the rest of the shift I shall be out on the Mount and patrolling the town centre. 
I did meet a lady at Morrisons who politely asked or a photo. This is the first time this has happened! She informed me she had friends who shared my Next Door stuff, so that was nice. 

It is always lovely to meet you guys, and more people appear to be reassured and feel listened too. That is the aim of the app and so it appears to be working.
