New Partner attendance at our Equestrian Transport Safety Event this weekend! Notts Fire & Rescue Specialist Operations Unit have kindly agreed to attend with their specially designed vehicle to discuss the training they have undergone in large animal rescue and this includes the rescue of equines when trapped in road collisions and on our road network, come and hear about the skills and assistance available to you as equestrians Our Roads Policing Officers will also be on hand throughout the day to advise on everything Roads and Transport, in addition to the vehicle weight and safety checks being carried out by the DVSA team (which we are fully booked for) - come and ask about having the right licence, training and safety of your vehicle when transporting horses on our road network FREE Tickets to attend and speak to the teams above, our Horse Watch Officers, Poppy Sewell from Dodson & Horrell for feed advice and how to get your horses weight accurately calculated, Bransby Horses for all things equine welfare, on and off our roads, Datatag ID Ltd offering property marking and crime prevention advice for your equipment, Leash & Release about their campaign work for better laws around responsible dog ownership and grab a Goody Bag too!
