This morning, PCSO 6196 Spendilow attended Marjorie Street after reports of a vehicle parked illegally and blocking the pedestrian pathway. The obstruction meant that residents β including parents with prams, schoolchildren, and those with mobility needs β were forced to walk in the road, creating a clear risk to public safety. Upon checking the vehicle, it was discovered that it also had no valid vehicle tax, a requirement for any vehicle using or standing on a public road. Due to: the vehicle was seized and removed under Road Traffic Act and DVLA enforcement powers.
