This week a male was arrested on suspicion of 2 shop thefts and an assault. He has since been charged for all 3 offences and remanded to prison.
We visited St Chads and St Marks Church to see the amazing work they are carrying out in the local community. They upcycle furniture that would have otherwise gone to landfill. It is then given to people who need it. They also fix broken bicycles and rent them out for a small fee. They also run a sewing club to repair clothing. All of these clubs help local residents develop new skills.
This runs on Fridays 10:30-12:30 and everyone is welcome.
We will also be doing bike marking at the church - date to be confirmed.
