Good News:
The team helped locate and arrest a wanted prolific offender targeting retailers in the Solihull area. After a lengthy foot chase and some fence hopping the male was cuffed and hauled off to custody and then before the courts. Officers from three teams all chipped in to bring the wanted male to justice.
The team seized a vehicle believed to be used in a range of serious criminal offences following some keen-eyed proactive work from one of the team. Getting it off the road will be a significant disruption to those wishing to commit crime in the area. A stolen car was also recovered by the team this past weekend which has hopefully made someone’s day to have it back safely.
An offender who has been committing Burglaries and vehicle crime on Warwick Road has been identified through CCTV enquires. The team have identified a timeframe of when the offences have been committed and have been conducting plain clothes patrols in the area to locate and arrest the suspect. Efforts are still ongoing to arrest the suspect and prevent him from committing further offences in the area.
Our nights response team responded to a Burglary in progress on 17/02/2026 whereby the 3 offenders were seen breaking into a property on Rowlands Crescent. The offenders made off prior Police arrival, however one offender was located by officers and was arrested on suspicion of Burglary.
We would also like to thank everyone who has responded to the Anti-Social Behaviour survey and we look forward to using the information gathered from it to inform future actions to help make residents lives a little safer. Please continue to be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour.
We hope that you all have a lovely week.
