Good evening everyone,
Here is your update as to what has been going on in your area since our last message.
Crime Update: On Sunday the 15th In the early hours a theft of motor vehicle took place on St. Bernards Road whereby a Silver Toyota which was left locked and secure outside the address has been stolen without keys by an unknown suspect. This investigation is ongoing. There was a residential burglary in Ashorne Close on the evening of Monday the 16th whereby three males have smashed the rear patio door and gained entry to the address before being disturbed and fleeing. Enquiries are ongoing and this investigation is still live.
Good News: The team helped locate and arrest a wanted prolific offender targeting retailers in the Solihull area. After a lengthy foot chase and some fence hopping the male was cuffed and hauled off to custody and then before the courts. Officers from three teams all chipped in to bring the wanted male to justice. The team seized a vehicle believed to be used in a range of serious criminal offences following some keen-eyed proactive work from one of the team. Getting it off the road will be a significant disruption to those wishing to commit crime in the area. A stolen car was also recovered by the team this past weekend which has hopefully made someone’s day to have it back safely. We would also like to thank everyone who has responded to the Anti-Social Behaviour survey and we look forward to using the information gathered from it to inform future actions to help make residents lives a little safer. We hope everyone has a good rest of the week and we will be in touch again soon. | ||
