Attempted Theft of a motor bike

Theft of  bike in Gorseholm Court, Irthlingborough

Dear Residents

We are appealing for information after an attempted theft of a motorbike in Gorseholm Court, Irthlingborough.

The attempted  theft occurred between 6:20pm and 10:40pm on the 24th Of February 2026.  Between stated times Unknown suspect(s) have removed motorbike cover and braking metal frame of motorbike cover in what looks like an attempt to steal the motorbike.

Did you witness anything? Did you see anyone or any vehicle(s) in the area that looked suspicious? If so, then please contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting ref: 26000110821. Alternatively you can report online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your bike:

Bike: 

Secure your bike by looping a cable lock through the front wheel and then through a Sold Secure® Gold standard D lock or chain. Then attach bike to a bike stand or immovable object with the lock  Sold Secure - Security Product Testing & Approval
