Community Update – School Parking Concerns, Saint Clare's Primary School

This afternoon we carried out patrols around the Saint Clare's Primary School and were very disappointed to see the lack of respect shown by some parents towards local residents.

We witnessed cars being parked over driveways and residents being spoken to abusively. This behaviour is not acceptable.

We will continue to patrol and will be returning with enforcement officers to take appropriate action where necessary.

We have also asked the school to remind parents in their weekly newsletter about the importance of respectful parking and behaviour.

Please note Saint Clare's Primary School has its own designated parking on Scotland’s playing field which provides ample parking and a school crossing patrol officer.
