Local Priorities Personal theft (e.g. pick pocketing, no violence used) Update

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Personal theft (e.g. pick pocketing, no violence used), which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

On Wednesday 25TH February 2026, Clerkenwell SNT worked in partnership with stakeholders to put up crime prevention posters in Exmouth Market in response to community concerns about personal theft in the area.

This will provide the local community crime prevention advice, and act as a deterrent to prevent victims from becoming victims of crime from opportunistic crimes.

Clerkenwell SNT continues to work with local businesses in the area to detect, deter, and eliminate all crime related incidents.
