Foot patrol (25/02/2026)

College ASB patrols and after-school coverage around Rainham Road South were the assignments for Rick and Lee today (4.75 miles).

After spending time at the Eastbrookend Country Park as part of the team's open space commitment, it was on to Rush Green. Here, college ASB hotspot were checked on, including the Thorntons Farm Avenue alley (1.59pm & 2.24pm, p), Fourth Avenue (2.02pm & 2.22pm) and the Dagenham Road flats (p).

In Harveys Lane, plans for an imminent council-led clean-up of the service road were discussed, before patrols of Great Cullings and Valentines Way (2.46pm).

From just after 3pm, Felhurst Crescent and Rainham Road South were covered (p) over a period of 45 minutes, with local pupils and parents engaged with, underlining the team's continued efforts to be more involved with the ward's schools.
