Vehicles Seized!

Great enforcement work by St Giles Safer Neighbourhood Team who organised and led a proactive roadside traffic operation on Camberwell Church Street SE5, coordinating colleagues from neighbouring wards and Special Constables.

It followed community concerns about cycling on the pavements, cyclists failing to comply with red traffic lights and use of illegal e-bikes, e-scooters and motorbikes. 

During the operation fifteen cyclists were issued with a £50 FPNs for jumping red lights and 3 e-bikes, 2 e-scooters and 4 motorbikes were seized including one for dangerous driving and one for no insurance.
