Pet cat killed by pellets from a gun

Recently a pet cat from the Redding Close / Grangeway area of Rushden has been shot with a pellet gun. it was taken to the vets, but has subsequently died.

Should you have any information or CCTV footage that may assist us with our enquiries into this incident or are aware of anyone who is using a pellet gun in this area of Rushden please call 101 quoting the Crime Ref. No. 26000098225.

If you have a pet cat and notice that it is injured or distressed please check it for any pellets wounds and mention the possibility of this being cause should you have to take it to the vets.
