Excellent attendance at St Mary's PACT Meeting

Excellent attendance at St Mary’s / Glodwick and Roundthorn Partners and Communities Together Meeting held on 25/02/26 at Mahdlo Youth Zone

On Wednesday 25/02/26 St Mary’s/Glodwick and Roundthorn Policing Team held a PACT meeting with Partners from Local Authority/Onward Housing and First Choice Homes attending. 

Approximately 40 residents attended this meeting with PCSO Andy Bigland delivering a Presentation informing residents of Crime Stats/ Police Intervention/ Priorities and Community Engagement and Events. 

Residents then had the opportunity to have your say with regards to any issues or concerns that they are having in the community. It was important  that their voices were heard, and it gave them the opportunity to meet with our Policing Team, Housing Provider’s, Local Councillor and Local Authority Engagement Team to discuss concern.

Our aim is to tackling Community issues and Anti-Social Behaviour issues together.

During this meeting residents were provided with a full update as to what intervention have been carried out and put in place by your Policing Team and Partners

Main issues raised by resident’s during this meeting are as follows: 

Beaufont Drive – Illegal vehicles

Higginshaw Village - Off Road Bikes 

St Mary’s in general - Drug related issues/Drug dealing 

All priorities will be tackled by Multi-Agency Approach and resident’s will be fully updated throughout the process
