The priorities of Staffordshire Police in responding to domestic abuse are to protect the lives of both adults and children who are at risk of harm.
If you suspect that any of your friends, family or neighbours are suffering from Domestic Abuse or, if you hear or see anything of concern, then please contact us. Calls will be treated in the strictest confidence and can remain anonymous:

What is domestic abuse?
Domestic abuse is an incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive, threatening, degrading or violent behaviour, including sexual violence, in the majority of cases by a partner or ex-partner but can also be by a family member or carer. Domestic abuse covers a range of types of abuse, including but not limited to coercive control, psychological or emotional abuse, physical or sexual abuse, financial abuse, harassment and stalking, online or digital abuse. Domestic abuse occurs amongst people of all ethnicities, sexualities, ages, disabilities, immigration status, religions or beliefs, and socio-economic backgrounds.
