Dear Resident

We are pleased to announce the creation of an Expert Panel for our ward.

The purpose of this panel is to bring together residents with professional experience in areas such as car manufacturing, secure compound construction, CCTV, home security, computer science, and other relevant fields. Their specialist insight will help us explore practical ways to tackle some of the challenges affecting our community.

We appreciate that many residents have valuable general knowledge, and we are always grateful for the ongoing support and engagement shown across the ward.
However, this particular panel is designed for those with industry‑level expertise, ensuring that any advice or guidance we share with residents is accurate, reliable, and grounded in current professional practice.

We also want to reassure everyone that joining the panel is not meant to be a burden or a big commitment.
Your role would simply be to stay broadly up to date in your own field and join us occasionally — perhaps over a friendly cuppa — for what we’re calling our “Crime Solutions Corner” sessions. These relaxed meet‑ups will be a space to chat, share ideas, and help shape community guidance in a calm and supportive environment.

Below you will find the details for the next Crime Solutions Corner meeting. For this first session, feel free to come along and have a chat. Please note that the police will mainly be present to supervise the meeting. The ideas and solutions that residents come up with will be shared through Met Engage updates — while ensuring we do not promote or advertise any specific product.

Crime Solutions Corner
This is a meeting for residents with speciality knowledge and expertise that volunteer to assist to come up with ideas to current crime trends. Primary focus is to keep the advise SNT gives up to date with current crime trends. Speciality roles which are welcome are roles such as: Mechanics, Home Security Specialists, CCTV experts, Networking Specialists, Builders, Ex-Officers, and Special Services.
