International Women’s Day takes place on 8 March 2026, and we’re celebrating the women who make a real difference across Newham.
Do you know a woman whose courage, compassion or leadership inspires others? A colleague, neighbour, volunteer or community leader who goes above and beyond.
We’re inviting residents, partners and organisations to nominate a Newham Shero - a woman whose actions help build a stronger, fairer borough for all.
Successful nominees may be featured on the Council channels as part of our International Women’s Day celebrations.
Submit your nomination by 8 March 2026 and help us recognise the incredible women shaping Newham every day.
