From Tuesday 3 March 2026, Brixton and Walworth front counters move to extended opening hours: Monday–Friday 10am–10pm, and weekends 9am–7pm.

You can still contact the Met 24/7 in other ways:

Emergency: call 999 (24/7).

Non-emergency: call 101 or report online.

At affected sites: weatherproof phones will be available outside most closing/reduced-hours front counters for direct connection to 999/101 (except Royalty Studios, Church Street, Barking Learning Centre).

Video appointments will be offered as an alternative.

Local neighbourhood policing teams continue face-to-face engagement via ward bases, street briefings, and community events.

Language line services are available through 101 and 999.
