Internet Safety Week - w/c 9th February 2026 |
||
|
Over the course of Internet Safety Week in February, I had the pleasure of visiting several primary and secondary schools across Tunbridge Wells to speak with young people about how to stay safe online. The pupils were absolutely brilliant — engaged, curious, and full of thought‑provoking questions about everything from gaming safety to social media, online privacy, and how to spot risks before they become problems. Their insight and enthusiasm made each visit genuinely rewarding. I was also kindly provided with some fantastic photos from Southborough Primary School, capturing the sessions and the students’ involvement. It’s always great to see young people so eager to learn how to protect themselves and support their friends in the digital world. A huge thank you to all the schools, teachers, and pupils who welcomed me — working together is the best way to keep our young community members safe online. If you’d like your school involved in future sessions, please feel free to reach out.
