Dear Resident, Blythe Crimes update between Saturday 21/02/26 – Monday 2/03/26. Burglary. No burglaries or attempted burglaries have been reported.
Theft of Motor vehicle. 21/02/26 between 4.20pm -5.20pm a Toyota Yaris was stolen without keys from Frankholmes Drive Monkspath. 25/02/26 at 6.16pm. A Range Rover was stolen without keys from Yarn Lane Dickens Heath. The vehicle was recovered due to having a tracker fitted in Hall Green. There have been no reports of Theft From Motor vehicle. This week a Police Operation called Op Advance has taken place on the 27th February, involving Officers from around the Police Service. On Blythe. An intelligence lead drugs warrant was served and drugs seized from a property in Monkspath. 25/02/25. Thank you to Dickens Heath Community Primary School for inviting Blythe Officers to meet the children, talking about the Police Service and keeping safe. Please make sure your sheds, garages side gates are locked. Move your wheelie bins inside your property away from any side gate entry. Please don’t leave your property in darkness, leave a light on. Ongoing patrols are continuing. Thank you to the residents who are helping Police with their investigations. If you see a vehicle in your area that you don’t recognise, parked up, please contact Police on 101 or use the West Midlands Police web site to log it. The location of new vehicle deposition sites are of interest to us.

Ensure that all garden furniture is stored away in a garden shed along with any tools to avoid aiding offenders in committing burglary. Ensure that Wheelie Bins are not stored near to fences and are chained together to prevent them from being used as climbing aids or storing objects in that may aid an offender to commit a crime.
