Foot patrol (03/03/2026)

Yesterday, the team were out around the ward for a welfare check and college ASB patrols, before providing an after-school presence around Eastbrook School (5.29 miles).

After carrying out a visit on a vulnerable person on the #Parkside beat early on, Kerry also checked in on Eastbrookend's Discovery Centre.

Meanwhile, Rick was out in Rush Green just after 1pm, beginning by passing through the country park and speaking to secondary school students on a field trip (p).

From there, college-based ASB hotspots, including the Thorntons Farm Avenue alley, the Fourth Avenue car port (1.40pm) and the Dagenham Road flats (p) were all checked.

Both Fourth Avenue and Thorntons Farm Avenue (2pm) saw return visits, followed by Harveys Lane.

From 2.30pm, Rick and Kerry, joined by Heath SNT's Daniella, were in and around Dagenham Road and Rainham Road South, speaking to home-going pupils (p).
